The rooms will be built at the foot of Tsau hill offering breathtaking views over the concession.


Diverse animal and plant life in the semi-arid land will offer a unique experience to compliment the rest of the circuit.


The camp will be accessible by road and by air all year round.


Three family rooms will accompany the seven luxury rooms, allowing families of all ages to experience the Kalahari.

Tsau Hills – Coming Soon

Ten rooms will be built around Tsau Hill in a private concession in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. With the Tsau Hill being the only topographical relief in the entire 50,000km2 CKGR, the camp will have spectacular panoramic views over the savannah. Activities will be focused on game drives, night drives, and walking trails, with the option to camp out at one of the fly camps or star beds.

Where to Find Tsau Hills

Tsau Hills is approximately 230kms from Maun Airport and takes approximately 3 and a half hours by road.

Look out for Brown Hyena, Aardvark, Kalahari Lions, Aardwolves, Gemsbok, Oryx, Springbok and Bat-eared Foxes. Very different to what you will find while you are at the other Roots & Journeys camps.
